Moving on, here’s what I’m envisioning for iridescent wave:
- Weekly posts from me with thoughtful words about your hard work. Weekly is the baseline, but I will pop up more often than that when inspiration strikes! It’s just me writing for now. However, as we grow, I do want to bring on other writers if there’s an interest so that we may cover more artists & stories!
- Transparency. Prior relationships with artists will be stated @ the top of a piece. What I DON’T want this to turn into is… a shill space, lol. I hope to be honest + upfront about the goals of this blog, the goals of me, celia, who’s whom, etc.
- Pronouns at the top of feature artist stories. This is easy enough to do and we need to normalize it to help everyone feel comfortable in spaces.
- Submissions! If you’re an artist in web3 in ANY way, I want to hear from you! Like I said, I can’t be everywhere all the time, so PLEASE take a moment to write to me about what music projects you have going on so that I may feature you in an upcoming blog post! Tip for new artists (and no, I don’t work for Audius/they don’t pay me, lol): one easy (like, Soundcloud-level easy) way to get into web3 is to upload music onto Audius! I also co-host a radio show over there featuring women & queer artists, so! Lmk.
- MERCH/PROJECTS AS WE GROW… yes. I have big plans for this blog but that’s all I’ll say for now. 🙂
